A custom web application instead of another spreadsheet
Does your business run on shared Excel files, retyped orders and emails back and forth? I build a web application that turns that into one place. Everyone logs into the same system, and what's entered is right.
- Typical price
- €800 - €2,500
- All prices are final: as a small business I'm exempt from VAT (art. 56bis Belgian VAT Code), so no VAT is added.
- Usually takes
- 3-8 weeks
Who is this for?
- Several people work in the same Excel file and overwrite each other's work.
- Orders or requests get typed in twice, in two different systems.
- An off-the-shelf package does most of what you need, but not the part that matters most.
What's included
- An application with accounts and permissions
- An admin area so you can manage it yourself
- A database designed around the questions you ask
How I approach it
First I map how the work runs today: who enters what, where it goes wrong, and what questions you want to ask of your data. The database is built around those questions.
You get accounts with per-role permissions, an admin area so you can maintain it yourself, and checks that stop duplicate or wrong entries.
An example: for Provilion Broodjes I built an ordering platform where students order, parents top up credit and the kitchen gets one daily preparation list. Manual cash handling disappeared entirely.
Based in Geel. I work with clients in the Kempen, on the coast around Blankenberge and, remotely, across Flanders.
Provilion Broodjes
Replaced manual cash handling with a self-service ordering system. Parents top up credits online, orders settle automatically through Stripe, and the kitchen works from one live operations dashboard.

How much does a custom web application cost?
Usually between €800 and €2,500, depending on the number of user roles, screens and integrations. You get a fixed price up front. If the scope grows along the way, you hear what it costs before I build it.
Do I own the software?
Yes. The code, the domain and the hosting account are in your name. If you ever want to continue with another developer, nothing is locked in.
Can it connect to the tools I already use?
Usually, yes. Most accounting packages, web shops, CRMs and payment providers have an API I can use to exchange data automatically.
